Community 101 / Discipleship Training I:  In the first four weeks, learn more about CCC and how you can be a part of the church through Community 101. Starting October 10th . . . Discipleship Training I is a relational way for Christians to develop biblical habits, helping them grow closer to Christ and each other.

Having a Mary Heart in a Martha World: For women today, it is not much different than the days of Mary and Martha. We deal with the daily demands of a busy world, and struggle with our desire to serve Christ even when we are weary. Please contact Carol at 376-1004.

The Mysteries of God as Revealed to Paul:  Based on a series of studies done by Les Feldman that takes a look at the ministry and message of Paul to the Gentiles.

Song of Solomon: A Bible-based youth study for middle school teens and their parents, covering topics on dating, love, sex, marriage, and romance.

Cultural Understanding of the New Testament: A class designed to give individuals a clearer understanding of the time and culture of the NT. In this class, gain a better understanding of 1st century Judaism, the teachings of Jesus, and the ministry of Paul.

Discipleship Training 4: Explore topics such as goal setting, digging deeper in your daily quiet time, exercising spiritual gifts, fasting, and maturing in Christ.

BUILDING COMMUNITY BROCHURE:   CCC is entering an exciting time of construction as we add on to the north end of our building.  The details of the plan are included in a new brochure that also gives details about our history and our goals for the future.  A copy of the brochure is available at welcome table.  Building Expansion Information Session Presentation (PDF)
 DATES TO REMEMBER 
September 5: (Labor Day Sunday): House Church Sunday. Church services will be held in small group homes, so please plan to gather with your small group to “be the church.” For those who are not part of a small group, there will be several temporary groups available. Visit the display in the Ministry Mall and sign up to participate with a group!

September 5: Youth groups will not meet due to the holiday weekend.
 
September 6: Church office closed for Labor Day.
 
September 9: CCC Fall Bowling League begins. There is still time to sign up! See the Ministry Mall for more information or to register. Contact Rosemary Hull with questions, 375-9207.
 
September 26: Small Group Golf Outing, 2:00 pm at Otter Creek Golf Course. For more information or to sign up, contact Rodney Lucas (343-0915) or David Gregory (350-1482), or stop by the Ministry Mall. Registration deadline is September 19th.
October 1-3: JUNIORS’ RETREAT for 4th-6th graders will be held at Spring Hill Camp. The cost of this retreat is $110 per student. Registration and a $20 deposit are due by Sunday, September 12.  Application packets are available in the rack just outside the Children’s Ministry offices. If you have questions, contact Dorelle Hogan or Wendy Foster at 376-9478.
