Frequently Asked Questions

Home groups are the foundation of our small group ministry. These groups meet in homes on various nights of the week. They are open to everyone and emphasize worship, applicational Bible study and prayer, while at the same time providing opportunities to serve and build meaningful relationships.

How often do Small Groups meet?

Groups generally meet weekly on various days at various times. Groups meet in homes throughout the Bartholomew County area.  Most groups have social times together outside of the group meeting as well.

How long do the Small Group gatherings last?

They run throughout the year. Actual gatherings last about two hours, usually in the evening. A few groups meet at other times.

What's a Small Group meeting like?

The evening may have a time of worship, Bible Study (with a strong emphasis on life application), ministry time (where members can talk to one another about the implications of following Christ and to provide support to one another in prayer), and of course, a time of refreshment. Sharing meals and serving together are also common in small groups.
