Hero Headquarters:  Where Kids Join Forces with God!  At VBS this year we will meet five unlikely Bible heroes who are often overlooked – we don’t even know their names!  Like these heroes, we can be used by God to do amazing things, even if we aren’t famous.  Come be a hero from June 14-18, 9 am to noon.  Call Michelle Ianni (343-1470, iannimom@live.com) or Katie Booth (376-9478, katie@cccolumbus.org) for more information or to volunteer.

Attention parents of children entering 5^th and 6^th grade in fall of 2010:  Last year there was a lot of excitement for the special VBS schedule for 5^th and 6^th graders that took place in the Annex, so much so that it got kind of crowded.  This year we’re going bigger for these kids!  The Rocky Ford Free Methodist Church on Taylor and Marr has generously offered to let us use their facilities for this group.  All children will be dropped off and picked up at CCC.  After opening session, the 5^th and 6^th graders will hop on the bus and travel down the road for pre-teen appropriate fun and Bible learning, then travel back to CCC for closing session and pick-up.  Transportation and VBS activities will be staffed by CCC staff and volunteers.

This will require an extra permission slip for children leaving the CCC campus.  You can print the online version or pick up a copy at church, and mail it in or drop it off in the Children’s Ministry mailbox. Link to online version:
