Support groups will run 12 weeks long, meeting every Tuesday evening. Dinner will be served at 5:30 and groups will all meet at 6:30pm-8:00pm. Childcare is available with pre-registration. 


Fall Offerings Starting September 24th 

Celebrate Recovery -  (no pre-registration needed)
For anyone wishing to overcome an addiction or life controlling habit.

Insight Group - (no pre-registration needed) A support group for adults who have a loved one struggling with addiction.

Divorcecare -  ($15.00 Workbook) A friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. 

MOPs/MomsNext -  this specific MOPs group for single mothers that is intended to equip and encourage single mothers. 

Embrace Grace -  A pro-love mentoring support group for single women who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. 

ESL -  (English as a Second Language) A multilevel group that teaches English to anyone who is not a native English speaker. 

Parent Project -  ($30.00 Workbook) Help for parents raising risk-taking adolescents ages 11-17. This group will address it all: truancy, drugs, runaways, media, early teen sex, violence, gangs.

reThink -  A discussion group allowing discussion and room to explore significant questions. This group will discuss a new topic each week while being mindful to investigate ideas and not denigrate those with different views. 

Stepping Up -  ($12.00 Book) Author, Dennis Rainey, defines true manhood and challenges men at each step of life’s journey to reject passivity and embrace courage.

Anxious for Nothing -  ($15.00 Book) A counseling group that will highlight women's issues having to do with anxiety. Book fee required for registration, space limited to 14 participants. 

Quit Smoking Together -  ($25.00 Registration Fee) A support group led by a tobacco cessation specialist. The program allows participants to explore how smoking is connected to different parts of their lives and helps them practice research-based strategies for quitting, all with the support of each other and their facilitator. (8 weeks)

Teens & Children:

Divorcecare4Teens:
A support group for teens who are experiencing their parents separation or divorce. 

DC4K: (Grades 2-6)
Divorcecare for Kids, a group for young children experiencing divorce. 

Celebration Kids: (Grades K-6)
The uplifting and hope-filled children’s companion to Celebrate Recovery. Children learn how to effectively deal with “hurts, habits and hang-ups.”

KidCare: (Ages Birth-PreK)
Fully staffed and secure nursery and preschool areas. Children still in diapers are welcome.

Please be a part of our upcoming Pictorial Directory! This is an important tool to help the CCC staff, elders, and congregation connect names and faces. Members and regular attenders are encouraged to participate in our directory! Those who participate will receive a free 8 x 10 photograph, and a free directory. Those who choose to buy photos will also receive $30 to spend at shutterfly.com.

FMO begins with unstructured playtime for infants through preschool age while offering social time for parents.  We conclude the time with snack and craft for the kids.  The time is from 9:30-11:00 here at the indoor playground.  No registration is needed, just drop by.

Preschool/K/1st grade Christmas Party

Time: 6pm – 7:30pm

Kids in preschool through 1st grade  get to attend a Christmas party tailored just for them.  It’s an evening of fun Christmas activities, silly games and ends with a sweet nativity scene performed by the kids.  Parents are welcomed to attend with their child.  Time is from 6:00-7:30 on Friday December 4th.   No registration is necessary.

Contact us at Community Downtown for more information about our Fall 2019 Tuesday Connection group offerings. 

Support groups will run 12 weeks long, meeting every Tuesday evening. Dinner will be served at 5:30 and groups will all meet at 6:30pm-8:00pm. Childcare is available with pre-registration. 


Fall Offerings Starting September 24th 

Celebrate Recovery -  (no pre-registration needed)
For anyone wishing to overcome an addiction or life controlling habit.

Insight Group - (no pre-registration needed) A support group for adults who have a loved one struggling with addiction.

Divorcecare -  ($15.00 Workbook) A friendly, caring group of people who will walk alongside you through one of life’s most difficult experiences. Don’t go through separation or divorce alone. 

MOPs/MomsNext -  this specific MOPs group for single mothers that is intended to equip and encourage single mothers. 

Embrace Grace -  A pro-love mentoring support group for single women who are experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. 

ESL -  (English as a Second Language) A multilevel group that teaches English to anyone who is not a native English speaker. 

Parent Project -  ($30.00 Workbook) Help for parents raising risk-taking adolescents ages 11-17. This group will address it all: truancy, drugs, runaways, media, early teen sex, violence, gangs.

reThink -  A discussion group allowing discussion and room to explore significant questions. This group will discuss a new topic each week while being mindful to investigate ideas and not denigrate those with different views. 

Stepping Up -  ($12.00 Book) Author, Dennis Rainey, defines true manhood and challenges men at each step of life’s journey to reject passivity and embrace courage.

Anxious for Nothing -  ($15.00 Book) A counseling group that will highlight women's issues having to do with anxiety. Book fee required for registration, space limited to 14 participants. 

Quit Smoking Together -  ($25.00 Registration Fee) A support group led by a tobacco cessation specialist. The program allows participants to explore how smoking is connected to different parts of their lives and helps them practice research-based strategies for quitting, all with the support of each other and their facilitator. (8 weeks)

Teens & Children:

Divorcecare4Teens:
A support group for teens who are experiencing their parents separation or divorce. 

DC4K: (Grades 2-6)
Divorcecare for Kids, a group for young children experiencing divorce. 

Celebration Kids: (Grades K-6)
The uplifting and hope-filled children’s companion to Celebrate Recovery. Children learn how to effectively deal with “hurts, habits and hang-ups.”

KidCare: (Ages Birth-PreK)
Fully staffed and secure nursery and preschool areas. Children still in diapers are welcome.
