David Baker

Dana Bowling
Counselor
Dana began attending CCC in June 2001. In May 2007, she began working as a counselor focusing on women and teens and facilitating focus support groups for victims of trauma. Her previous work experience includes working with youth in the justice system, individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing, and victims/survivors of domestic violence and trauma. Dana is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) and a Certified Foundational Level Therapist for Theraplay, a specialized therapy focusing on attachment disorders. She received her master’s degree in counseling at Ball State University and her Board Certified Christian Counseling through American Association of Christian Counselors. Dana is married to Shane and has three adult step-children: Scott, Sarah, and Derek.

John Bundick
Connections Pastor
After spending 16 years in Student & Emergent Adult Ministry, John joined the CCC staff in May of 2018 as the Pastor of Small Groups. His ministries include small groups, preaching, and college & emergent adults. He is a graduate of Taylor University with a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Education. John and his wife Linda have one son named Andrew.

Luke Erb
Associate & Discipleship Pastor
Luke has attended CCC since the spring of 2004 and has been a part of various ministries within the church. In October 2009, he became the Director of Adult Ministries, responsibilities of which include Adult Education, Inside Outreach, Prayer Team, Men's Ministry, and Small Group collaboration. In July 2014, CCC ordained Luke to full-time ministry. Luke is from Brazil, Indiana and currently resides in Edinburgh with his wife, Billie, and four children, Lachlan, Cyrus, Neorah and Galina. He is a graduate of Indiana University with a degree in Recreation and Park Administration. Luke enjoys reading, playing soccer, and being outdoors.

Frank Escoto
Director of Hispanic Community
Frank became the Director of CCC’s Hispanic Ministry in 2015. In 1985, he became a member of Iglesia Biblica del Señor Jesucristo (IBSJ), where he attended the Spurgeon Seminary, after completing his master’s degree in youth health and becoming a Doctor of Medicine. Frank served as a deacon at his church in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic and directed the Emergency Medical and Disasters Ministry, until he moved to the United States in 2006. He is married to Mirna Garcia and has three kids: Francell (married to Timothy), Claudia and Josue (married to Paola). They also have one grandson, Timothy.

Jacob Foster
Worship Arts Coordinator
Jacob has been a member at CCC since 1994 and has been involved with various ministries over the years, becoming the Worship Arts Coordinator in 2018. His ministry includes coordinating the musical and Audio/Visual needs of our Sunday morning and Holiday services. He is a graduate of Ball State University where he studied Business Information Systems, Recording Technology, and Guitar Performance. In his spare time Jacob enjoys reading, playing music, hanging out with friends and family, and playing board and card games. He and his wife, Jessica, have one daughter named Emma.

Emily Gloeckner
Early Childhood Director
Emily and her family began attending CCC in February of 2000. She came on board to Community Kids in the fall of 2008 as the Coordinator, and began the role of Director in January of 2011. Her responsibilities include the infant through preschool Sunday morning classes, the Girls' Purity event, and VBS. Emily graduated from Purdue University with a degree in Interior Design. Emily and her husband, Paul, have two children, Sarah and Rachel.

Scott Hundley
Director of Counseling and Community
After working in the Bartholomew County Court System for nearly 20 years, Scott joined the CCC staff in June of 2004. He currently serves as the Director of Counseling and oversees the work of Community Downtown, the CCC satellite office in downtown Columbus. Scott provides counseling services as well as supervises the other contractual and lay counselors. His additional responsibilities include overseeing the multiple support groups of CCC. Scott is a graduate of Milligan College, holds a master’s degree in Christian Counseling, and is a Board Certified Christian Counselor. Scott and his wife, Penny, have three daughters: Paige, who is married to Matthias Barker, Chloe, and Grace.

Alison Kennedy
Office Manager at Community Downtown
Alison became a member at CCC in the summer of 2017. She graduated from IUPUC with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and taught in Bartholomew County School Corporation before working at Community Downtown. Alison is passionate about advocating for others, and is a middle child that comes from a blended family. She and her husband, Jacob, have two daughters, Adelaide and Elise.

Rodney Lucas
Director of Operations
Rodney began attending CCC in November 1999. In August 2007 he became the Director of Operations; his areas of responsibilities include human resources, finance, and the day-to-day administrative function of the church. Rodney was born and raised in Huntington, West Virginia. In his spare time he enjoys hunting, fishing and just about all sports. He is especially fond of a day on the links. He is a graduate of Thornhill University with a degree in Business Administration. He and his wife, Denise, have one son, Michael, who is married to Ashley, and two grandchildren: Hailey Wampler and Ryland Lucas.
Alyssa Mantooth

Mike Mantooth
Lead Pastor
Mike joined the CCC staff as Lead Pastor in May 2019. He is responsible for providing leadership and overseeing the ministries and missions of CCC. His previous ministry experience includes serving as a Missionary in Peru and serving as a pastor on staff in the San Antonio area in Texas. Mike has a degree in Bioenvironmental Sciences from Texas A&M University and a Master of Divinity from George W. Truett Theological Seminary. He enjoys spending time with his wife, Alyssa, and their four children, Fisher, Olive, Sophia, and Everly. Mike’s desire is for people to know and have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Karen Shelton
Elementary Children's Director
Karen became a member of CCC in May of 1999. She has been serving in Community Kids for many years and has a heart for teaching children. She became a Children’s Coordinator in 2012 and the Elementary Children's Director in June of 2014. Her responsibilities include Kindergarten through 6th grade Sunday School classes, camp, preteen youth group, and preteen girls' and guys' Small Groups. She desires to help kids grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Karen is a graduate of Troy University with a degree in Elementary Education. She also has a master’s degree in Special Education from Florida State University. Karen and her husband, Jeff, have three children: Bethany, Caroline, and Rachel.

Adam Smith
Director of Student Community
Adam Smith has been on staff at CCC since May of 2018. He was born and raised in Kokomo, IN. Adam attended Indiana Wesleyan University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Christian Ministries. While at Indiana Wesleyan, he was on an athletic scholarship to compete for their cheerleading team. Adam currently oversees students in grades 7th through 12th.

Elder
Bob and his wife (Shari) have been members of CCC for over fifteen years. Bob began serving as an Elder in September of 2019 and has participated in counseling, youth/children programs, leading small groups, along with other various ministries within the body at CCC. Bob enjoys spending time with family/ friends, outdoor activities and officiating sports.

Chuck Goode
Elder
Chuck and his wife Lori have been members of CCC for 15 years. Chuck joined the Elder Board in September of 2019 for his second time on the board. Chuck moved to Columbus from Illinois after getting his college degree. It was Chuck and Lori’s daughters that enticed them to join CCC as they had a wonderful time participating in the youth organization with several of their friends. Chuck and his family have participated in our youth organization, small group participation and leadership, lay counseling, and several ministry programs. His 2 daughters are now both married; one in Louisville and 1 in Columbus, with his first granddaughter here in Columbus. Chuck has always had many projects going on. And now that he’s retired, he looks forward to spend more time with his granddaughter, on a golf course, and is starting to learn how to play a guitar.

Stan Hill
Elder - Secretary
Stan was born and raised in Brownsburg, Indiana but has lived in Columbus since 1992 when he started at Cummins. Stan married his high-school sweetheart Theresa in 1986 and they have two adult children, Ethan and Autumn. This past summer, Ethan and his wife had a baby daughter so Stan and Theresa are now proud grandparents. Stan and Theresa enjoy hiking, biking, and travel, especially to our beautiful national parks. Stan and his family began attending CCC in 1998 and love the teaching, worship, and fellowship of this body. He has taught several adult classes on Sunday morning, participated in special committees, and has been involved with the Welcome Table for over 15 years. Stan is currently serving his third term as Elder.

Clark Holland
Elder - Chairman
Clark began his first term as an elder in September 2018 and currently serves as Chairman. Clark has served in a number of roles at CCC including volunteering in the children’s ministry and teaching adult classes. International missions is an area of interest as Clark and his wife Robin led the “Perspectives on the World Christian Movement” class at CCC and have participated in a variety of trips. The Holland’s were married in December of 1990 and have seven children. Clark enjoys training for half-marathons and sprint triathlons, helping coach youth basketball, and spending time boating with his family.

John Hurless
Elder
John began his first term as an elder in September 2020. John and his wife Diane were married in June, 1975. They have three children and two grandchildren. They became members of CCC in 2016. John is involved with teaching in their small group and has served as a greeter. He is a graduate of the University of Iowa and Indiana University. John retired from Cummins in 2017 after 40 years of service. He enjoys visiting National Parks and reading.

Luke Jones
Elder
Luke and his wife, Lindsay, began attending CCC in 2008 shortly after getting married. Both have served in various ministries including co-leading their small group, serving in the children’s ministry, and coordinating Financial Peace University. Luke is currently serving his second term as an elder. In his spare time, he enjoys chasing his young kids Olivia and Caleb, date nights with his wife playing disc golf, and just about anything else outdoors. He is a graduate of IUPUI with a master’s degree in mechanical engineering.

Phil Miles
Elder - Vice Chairman
Phil started his first term as an elder in September 2018 and will rotate off the board in September of 2021. Phil also directs the Emergency Response Safety Team at CCC. Phil and his wife Mary were married in September of 1985 and have two sons, John and Jared. They became members of CCC in 2011. Phil and Mary also serve as certified marriage lay counselors at CDT. Phil enjoys old cars and loves attending car shows with his 1965 Chevrolet Impala.

Daniel Smith
Elder
Dan has been a member of CCC since 2007 when he moved to Columbus to work at Cummins. He married Lindie in 2011. He joined the elder board in September 2020. They now have four children and are currently foster and adoptive parents. Dan has served as a small group leader and member of the missions planning committee for several years. he loves to teach and is passionate about discipleship and missions. Dan enjoys hunting and building things.

Brett Westbrook
Elder
Brett is originally from Columbus, and after having lived various places moved back to the Columbus area in 2009. Brett and his wife Maria have four children, two living on their own and two still in college. Brett and his family joined CCC in 2010 and he and Maria have been leading a small group for many years. Brett also led an adult education class at CCC for a number of years. Brett and Maria have a love for internationals and a heart to see the good news of Jesus go to people around the world who have never heard it before. Brett enjoys reading, biking, hiking, board games, various sporting events and hanging out with family and friends.
