Community Church of Columbus is an interdenominational, Bible-teaching, mission-oriented church where approximately 1,100 people gather each Sunday for Christ-centered worship and authentic community. We are dedicated to our mission “to be and make disciples of Jesus among all nations,” believing that Jesus’s call is as compelling today as it was to the first disciples. Rooted in Matthew 4:19, we understand a disciple to be someone who is following Jesus, being changed by Jesus, and committed to the mission of Jesus, and we actively pursue disciple-making as a relational, intentional, and multiplying ministry. With a vibrant Kids’ and Student Community, we invest deeply in the next generation, helping them grow in five key areas of lifelong discipleship. Our vision “to SEE all people thrive in Christ” reflects our desire to Support, Equip, and Encourage one another as we pursue spiritual growth together. At the heart of all we do are three core values: Our Message is Jesus, Our Foundation is God’s Word, and Our Response is Love for God and Others. We seek to live out this mission, vision, and values in our church, our community, our nation, and around the world, all for the sake of the gospel.
Our Director of Student Community guides students as they grow closer to Jesus and to one another. We want to see all students thrive in Christ through helping them feel known and loved, teaching them about Jesus, challenging them to grow, and sending them out to share their faith.
This is more than a position—it’s a calling to walk alongside students as they discover who they are in Christ and how they can impact the world around them. This role is an exciting opportunity to invest in the next generation, build meaningful relationships, and equip students to walk boldly for Christ with steadfast faith.
