FAQs

The name Easter has become more and more affiliated with Easter eggs and bunnies.  Last year, some concerns were expressed over why we call it Easter and not Resurrection Day.   After some discussion, we believe that calling it Resurrection Day gives a clear understanding of what we are celebrating that day.  We believe in the hope of the Resurrection, so we are using the language “Resurrection Day!”

Just a few weeks ago, on a non-holiday in February, our parking lot was completely full with people parking in the grass. Due to the anticipated number of guests on Resurrection Day, we decided to add an extra worship service time. This will help with parking, traffic flow inside the church lobby, and seating inside the worship center. Please note that these service times are different than our normal times and that Community Kids is only available at 9:30am and 11:00am. If you are able, consider joining our 8:00am service to make room for guests in our later services.

During our 9:30am and 11:00am services, Community Kids will be open as usual for children ages 0 - 6th grade. The 8:00am service will be family-style. We'll be providing activity bags and sermon notes pages in the worship center for children during all three services. We also have a family devotional linked below.

We are asking our staff and volunteers to park towards the back of the building to allow the front spaces to remain available for guests. If your family typically travels to church in multiple cars, consider riding together or picking up your neighbors to bring as few cars to the parking lot as possible.
